I have a multi with redhat6.0 (running kernel 2.2.12). When the ftp server is
under a highload (when im copying big files to the machine through the
internal network for example) the machine seems to lose its network
connection What i mean is that it drops all connections and stops
responding to ping, telnet, ftp, etc... When i go to the console the machine is
still happilly running only i can not access the network...
It always happens during (high load) ftp. The logs dont show anything. Im
using the wu-ftp that cames RedHat. I applied all the fixes and updates.
I have no clue wat is going on. Does anyone know what im talking about, or
can tell me what to look for?
What kernel/network card are you using? I had a similar problem
with the standard tulip driver that comes with the kernels and
switching to the newest from Beckers site fixed the problem.
Currently im running 2.2.12 with the DECchip Tulip (dc21x4x) PCI support.
Where can i find the updated drivers?
